1. Most excitingly - use your imagination here... Nie was in Chicago and can't say the details. PS- Set your DVR's to record Oprah for a while! Oh how I love her... (Nie, not Oprah.)
2. This lovley lady, Misha, has plenty to say. She's a wonderful writer. And has a wonderful heart, and what an interesting life! Last winter I emailed with her a handful of times, and then needed to drop something off to her. My husband who happened to be in the car said "Do you know her?" No, not really. He was perplexed as to why we hugged at her door, then spent ten minutes inside. She is that kind of person, so sweet, you'll have to hug her. And wow, look what she and her husband are doing! I LOVE this!! And side note: she lives in the exact same floor-plan house that we used to. But her's is sooooo darling, just read all of her blog for glimpses. I command you. (And please, Misha, seriously, when do you come over to decorate my house?)
3. A little more of the Charlotte Mason methodology. Anyone else out there going this route? The whole (no longer in print) Home Education series is now online!
4. I finally found a $75 off $100 purchase coupon for Old Navy. Check here on Thursdays (maybe roughly 4pm - 9pm) to try to get one for yourself. Hello autumn sweaters! (I've found many $50 off over the last few weeks too, and my Christmas shopping is nearly done. Wrapped even. I kid you not.) Also, just for practice, try this - In the center picture, move the white arrows until Amy, the mannequin with the navy blue cardigan is in the front. Then move the "A" from the Q&A and drag it onto her cardigan. See?!
(I should add, it's not just a matter of finding the coupon, but finding it quickly, as soon as the site is re-loaded each week.)
5. Starting to think about Christmas yourself? Last year I needed something super-frugal, and did this. Go here, BlueTricycle, pick out your favorite stationary print for around $4, then print as many as you want. Get a stack of cardstock and some envelopes, and print to your heart's content, then tie up bundles of them with baker's twine. Your friends will think you are so clever!
Enjoy! Happy Monday.

Seriously......could it be any BUT Oprah?? I totally thought the same thing!
