Such a beautiful day! A little chilly, but beautiful no less. The girls informed me that they were having a "story picnic" on the deck. Apparently that means stories instead of food.
Like the newly thrifted afghan? Reminded me a lot of what's going on here.
We had a great speaker at MOPS this morning. One of our "mentor moms" spoke about prayer, and praying for our kids in particular. It was very inspiring, and she was an awesome speaker. Made for a good morning.
Oh, and I won some stuff today, too. I do pretty well in the luck department. At MOPS I won a cookbook (I'm sending it to you, Auntie Druann!), and this afternoon I won a book from the radio station about living on one income, written by a Christian author. I am kind of a nerd, and love that kind of thing. So that was today. In the last few weeks I also won a huge basket of Bare Minerals make-up and skin care products. LOVE the make-up. At the last MOPS I won a gift certificate for Pampered Chef, and also I recently won a gift card for Mary Kay products. I know, lucky!
