1). Inspire me with your summer goals! Giveaway ends Friday night. You know you want me to buy you a Vanilla Bean Frap or an Iced Caramel Macchiato. :)
2). I have a little announcement to make tomorrow. (Nope, definitely no bun in my oven!) But still very exciting!
3). I am savoring summer with Renee at Fimby again today. I am savoring the ability to take ten steps off my back deck and pick our dinner salads! Those grubs put up a brawny fight, but I think I have finally conquered! Dill, lemon thyme, romaine, flat-leaf parsley, mesclun, radishes... even a strawberry beginning to blush. What are you savoring this summer?

Beautiful, beautiful Shawn. Look at the colors in this post. Oh yum!!
You had me snickering out loud with your bun in the oven comment. Honey, if you were pregnant that would be quite the news! Can you imagine!

A little hard to imagine, yes! A 16 year old in college and a newborn would be quite fun though. :) We could pull all-nighters together, ha ha.
Thanks for the photo compliment - I was realizing I should stick to photographing vegetables - they are pretty willing subjects that don't move a whole lot. Right up my alley.
Hope you've recovered from reading my disorganized, poorly typed dyslexia list... improvements to come!

My post today was also about savoring the fresh lettuce and herbs in my garden!

Your garden looks wonderful! Nice work. We actually cheated on the strawberries and bought a flat from Haggen. SOOOO yummy though. And no, I sadly do not know how to make jam. So we're just shoving these babies down as fast as they'll go. Tough job, but someone has to do it!

Gorgeous photos of all your lovely growing things. One of my favorite things about having a garden is the fact that I don't have to run to the store for lettuce!

The people that owned this house before us blessed us tremendously with a big ole patch of strawberries. We all are enjoying them so much!
