8:00am: zucchini bread and fruit for the kids. Chores. Including 6 loads of laundry throughout the day.
8:30am- daily school work.... math books, spelling, Explode the Code (languae arts), sign language, and reading.
10:30am- fresh berry smoothies and granola bars.
11:00am-ish- "World Study" (thanks Renee, it't exactly the term I needed this year!) - we learned about New World Explorers using the Time Traveller's series. It seems the explorers were searching for stuff... I get out a selection of spices, gold, a Bible, binoculars and a globe to represent the reasons explorers explored. Visuals are good, even Keston now remembers it all. We did some maps and such.
12:30: sandwhiches for the little two, pasta for Mady and I, fruit. More coffee.
1:00pm: realize we need allspice for our next project. (Remember the spices bit of those explorers?) In an attempt to not sound ill-prepared, announce to everyone that Mady needs to practice driver's ed. She drives us all to the supermarket, her first time with Jenson and Keston in the car. Down the back roads, with the backseat kids instructed not to speak or distract her. When we got there, Keston blurted "That was amazing!". Gather our spices, stock up on soy milk that's on sale. And two bags full of other stuff. (How does that always happen?)
2:00pm- the kids and I make spice cookies.
3:00pm- clean out the bunny hutches, play outside, eat cookies, do more laundry, jump on the trampoline.
In between- FB, more laundry, get an early dinner prepped.
5:00- make dinner, the vegan variety and the other variety. Eat more cookies, deliver some to a neighbor in trade for the rosemary we borrowed earlier.
5:40pm - take Mady to her driving class (classroom stuff).
6:10pm- Put off gym, but instead do dishes, FB, more laundry, put away school stuff.
8:00pm- pick up Mady.
8:30pm- seriously exhausted and ready for bed.
Rinse, repeat, approximately 179 or so more times.
